facts about the mortgage loan application process and your application
specifically but also in the efforts we undertake to ensure the
confidentiality and security of the information you provide to us.

Principles
MortgageWorks understands and respects
your privacy. Throughout
our history we have always sought to ensure your personal information
is kept confidential. We
do not sell any information to any third party and we maintain strict
standards for the use of personal information not only by us but also
by other parties to your mortgage loan transaction.
Information
Collection Practices
MortgageWorks collects nonpublic
personal information to process and complete a mortgage loan
application you request.
We
collect the following types of personal information about you:
- Information you provide us on
your written mortgage loan application or through our Quick
Qualifier Application
- Information
collected from credit reporting providers
- Information
collected in the process of completing your applications such as
income and expense information, information regarding your assets,
information regarding your credit, information regarding the
structure of your loan, and information regarding the property you
are purchasing
MortgageWorks
will provide a notice describing its information sharing practices to
its customers at the time it receives the standard 1003 loan
application. In the
instances where the customer uses the Quick Qualifier Application,
they will have to acknowledge receiving the online version of the
privacy notice prior to being authorized to submit the application.
Information
Sharing Practices
MortgageWorks does not share nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated
third parties except as permitted by law.
Privacy
Notice
MortgageWorks
will provide on its website as well as to customers who receive a
mortgage loan application package, a privacy statement that outlines
its privacy practices.
That statement is incorporated to this policy as an attachment.
Further, MortgageWorks will provide a notice describing its
information sharing practices to its customers at the time it receives
the application.
The
privacy notice provided to customers would be the simplified version
outlined in the regulation.
Customers who provide a written standard 1003 loan application
will receive the notice when the application is submitted.
A signature on the notice will be required and a copy will be
maintained in the mortgage file.

Website
Security
MortgageWorks collects nonpublic personal information through its “Quick
Qualifier Application” on our website.
The website is a secure website using Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
encryption technology. Further,
we require our web hosting service to maintain security procedures
that at a minimum meet our standards.
Lastly, we do not utilize “cookies” to collect or monitor
customer information.
We
regard your information as private and we want you to feel secure in
providing information to us in any manner.

Privacy Notice --
MortgageWorks collects nonpublic personal information about you in order to process your request
for a mortgage loan. We collect information from the following sources:

From you as provided on applications or other forms associated with your mortgage loan request;

described above we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone except as permitted by law.
Also, we maintain controls and we require our service providers to maintain controls to safeguard the
security and confidentiality of your information. These controls include physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with the federal standards to protect your information. We restrict access to your
information to only those individuals with a need to know in order to process and evaluate your mortgage
application.
The policies we follow apply to both current and former customers.
